I think it's a good idea to get this message out. So many animals get left behind. I heard of a case on the news about someone who left kittens in their home when they left and they stayed alive by eating styrofoam and dry wall and drinking out of the toilet that had anti-freeze in it. Thankfully they were ok but what a tragic thing to happen.

Bad Reporting DogChannel! How do we know that this is some kind of epidemic like your UNsourced, editorialized "news" article states?

Sadly many animals are left at shelters! I myself would for go eating to feed my pets first! I wish people who ask for help before it reaches a crisis!

I think it is heartbreaking that some people are forced to give up their pets at a time when they are already experiencing such a difficult time in their lives. I wish there were more facilities to help in times like these, but it seems that money is always an issue and there is never enough of it.
