Pat San Angelo, TX 6/7/2008 10:35:16 AM This article is so true. Our shelters are full of dogs acquired as adorable puppies that many saw as little more than toys. It is amazing to me that people will spend hundreds of dollars on a dog and not even spend a little time to read a book about the breed or take the trouble to find someone knowledgable and talk to them. Our dogs deserve so much more.
