Maggie Lancaster, PA 3/27/2010 12:48:33 AM Wow,I realize there isn't a lot of research in this area but jogging with a puppy has never been reccomended by any of the breeders or Vets I know. Even at 6 mos. many breeds of dogs are not physically mature and their growth plates are still open. Running/forced exercise can be hard on their joints including their hips! Wait till your dog is closer to a year of age. Until then, free play/running by the dogs choice is a safer choice.
