This new ordinance is a travesty. It will not prevent irresponsible owners from allowing their dogs to run loose, it penalizes and places additional financial burden on responsible pet owners, and will not solve the pet overpopulation problem. It's the first step in PETA's "No birth Nation" agenda. Government has no business messing in people's private lives. A pox on everyone who supports this.

It's a shame that this law was passed or even considered in the first place. It does not address the root cause of homeless dogs and cats and is going to take it out on the innocent. Furthermore, this so-called humane law is going to subject animals to possible health risks as a result of the procedure so it's really a very inhumane law. Really, it's a step backwards.

Go ahead and think it's great. It is the 1st step of PETAs agenda of doing away with all pets and companion dogs. This includes seeing eye dogs, therapy dogs, and service dogs. What are the blind and disabled suppost to do? Give up on life and move into nursing homes? Their agenda includes cats and any other animal that is cosidered a pet or companion. If you want to give up your rights, just sit on your behinds and let them do it. Some of us are trying to fight these sick and immoral laws. If you don't believe me go to and see for your self.

I think it's an excellent idea. It prevents overcrowding in shelters and nonsense euthanasia. It also will help true pet owners to be more responsible owners.

GREAT!! Hopefully that law will filter up to Oklahoma. Now let's tackle the puppy mills.
