Ted Christiansburg, VA 7/23/2008 9:26:05 PM I understand that is the departments policy to leave the cars running and the dogs in them, but, it was also known that the car had mechanical problems. In this case, at the very least the windows should have been left open. Since this is a case of negligence it seems there are more to blame than just the handler. I hope the people of the town that donated for the dog in the 1st place go after those involved, with a vengence.
