I would love to have my pet cloned but there is no way I could afford the cost as much as I would love to have this done.

Are you crazy. with all the dogs in your local animal shelters needing homes. If you dont want one of these dogs then you could at least donate the money to the animal shelter or the nearest humaine society to helpo save some dogs.all you are doing is killing dogs by paying enormous prices to clone two dogs that you are not even sure won't have health or mental problems.

This is insane - you can't clone their soul. YOU WILL NEVER GET THEM BACK. Honor your dog by saving the lives of another - ADOPT! $600,000 could save so many lives...

This is HORRIBLE!! The CLONED dog won't have the SAME personality, and WHY do this when there are SO many who are waiting for a home??

I wouldn't mind doing that if I had the money. My dog is perfect.

Why clone?? When there are so many homeless pets! I would love to have Snuggles back.. But I know it will never been the same again!

My dog is my world and there will never be another Buck so why would I try to replicate a life so precious to me? Every pet I own is unique in their own ways and I love each and every one of them for that. It breaks my heart to think of them passing on, but such is life. My heart is big enough to welcome new pets into my life and home when that time comes. I would rather rescue a life then to create one that costs thousands of dollars...where does the money go?...Into the pockets of investors. I'd rather my money go to a shelter and help the animals that are here NOW.

P.S. I hope that the Best Friends Again Program plans on donating some of that small fortune from the auctions to a deserving animal shelter.

WOW! Dog Cloning auctions! I would love to have a perfect replica of my dog, but each life is very individual with their own personalities and quirks. There will never be another dog like the one I have now, but when he's gone there will be another dog that will come into my life that will be his or her own individual, and that's just fine with me!

Instead of cloning your dog, go to the pound and find one that needs a home! Don't make another
one!
Why make another dog when you can save one's life? It's just stupid!

Cloning is playing with trouble. It's unnatural.

thats so wrong! just because they look the same doesn't mean they willl be the same, i don't under stand why any one would do this. there are enough dogs in resucue places we don't clones to end up there and they probaly will. i'm catholic and don't think its right with God either, i'm not a super religious freak, but i mean come on, this is wrong!

WHY??? I often joke about cloning my hound so I can win the Iditarod. But while a cloned dog would look like my dog and have the physical capabilities of my dog, it wouldn't BE my dog. I just can't see the point.
