I've been giving my three-year-old dried cranberries as doggy treats. (She loves them, though I DO mix them with some smoky treats that may mask the taste. Not sure yet if this is going to help, but I will keep you posted.

I read in Dog fancy that I can purchase bearberry (barberry) to help prevent urinary tract infections but the book does not tell me where to purchase these products. I have had all the tests that you suggest but my dog is a diabetic. I am now giving her cranberry extract but it is for humans.

I am not having any luck with the pet web sites finding out this information, can you tell me where I can find this. This article is good but not complete.
