Interesting, should a regular liver tests be part of a healthy dog check up?

Thanks for the info. I have a narcotics canine and he stuck his foot witha needle during a search warrant. The suspect has hep c. Have been really concerned. Didn't ask my vet about it. Stress off my back. Much relieved.

I am glad I found this article I was recently in the home of someone with hep c and hep a and was licked on open skin by their dog. I was told by the health department that dogs can get it but can't find any information on the internet to verify it. I hope it is not true.
