Brenda Katy, Texas 1/5/2013 10:03:07 AM Same with my Molly. She was diagnosed with heart problems at 7 years . The last three years she was on blood pressure medication and died of old age at 17+ years 13 months ago. I understand this is a common ailment with Bostons. Otherwise, she lived a healthy active life up to the end.
Mary Evans Weare, NH 6/17/2010 3:40:57 PM We did have a 16yr old dog who developed this type behavior. She would be walking and then suddenly fall over. No trumatic seizure to see, but in a few short seconds, she would 'come to', get up and most times try to remember why she was where she was when she came to, almost like she forgot what she was doing at the time it occured. She was diagnosed as having a weak heart. Her heart was not able to pump enough blood to her brain and she then passed out. She was put on heart medication and lived an additional year before she passed away of old age..
