I would cut back in things I needed to make sure they were cared for, that should be the responsibility of every pet owner. I love my babies with all my heart!

If you take on the responsibility of owning & loving an animal then they SHOULD be a priority to you. Their pet care & well being is of utmost importance to me. They can not take care of themselves so we have to keep up on things like proper vet care, quality food, & adequate shelter.

Very interesting! Not surprised though- people sure do love their pets! I would give up alot for my dog too because I love her so much, but I think people take it a little too far when they pick their dog's needs over people's.

I would cut back on anything and everyting, including my own means to make sure my "babies" were taken care of.

I completely agree with this article. I am already cutting back on holiday shopping and other expenses to provide for my new puppy. My dog and my cat give me so much joy I believe they are completely worth it.

We do without daily so our pets can have what they need. We are for going Christmas so our Cat can have surgery tomorrow!

Much like the people surveyed for this article I too cut back on things for myself so that I can provide things that my dog needs. I think its one of the little things we can do to make sure our pets are living a happy life.

I would cut back on other things to make sure my dog got what she needed. I have cut back on buying gifts for others but not for her she will have a nice X-mas just like last year.
