Jeri Houston, TX 4/27/2009 1:36:41 AM Excellent dog beds. I've been making 'human lap blankets and dog beds for friends adding a yellow rose and a thistle (I moved from Texas to Scotland). I can also include their own dog. All the proceed go to either Rabies Challenge fund http://www.rabieschallengefund.org or a Rat Terrier Rescue organization. It's a fun way for me to give back to the furkids I love.
Anne North Andover, MA 3/26/2009 4:20:44 AM article is great. I did the same thing. My dog was in love with our bedspread when he came home for the first time that I took it and put some pillow that he slept on and put those inside and sewed the whole thing together. He will not sleep on anything else. Also when we take him for a ride in the truck he has to have it in the back set to lay on.
sheree lexington, NC 3/5/2009 5:47:39 PM the only problem i have is the dogs keeping tring to eat the inside of the bed how can i stop her
karen albany, GA 3/4/2009 12:39:23 PM Hi I think the dogbeds are cute and look easy to make Iam going to try my luck on them because I have 7 dogs and thay enjoy a new bed now and then. plus some of my dogs had bad knees hips etc.
Suzanne Irvine, CA 3/3/2009 11:22:21 AM Some of the fabric is snuggle fleece and the dog face print is cotton. I found it at Joann's. Some stores that sell quilt fabric also have cute dog and cat prints.
Karen Elk Grove, CA 3/3/2009 11:18:06 AM where did you find the adorable fabric? Is that fleece? I've been looking all over for pug fleece if anyone knows where I can find it. Love the bed!
