becky citrus heigths, CA 2/21/2009 12:22:24 PM First choice for the "first dog" is of course a poodle. Next choice, cairn terrier. Maybe a mix of schnauzer/poodle?

Kelly pittsburgh, PA 2/16/2009 6:24:31 PM I would say the president should get a portugese water dog out of the two breeds they are considering. if they get a doodle they might as well adopt from a shelter and save a life becasue doodles are nothing more then mix breeds that people are markating to make a profit and contributing to dog over population with no regard to bettering the population. I would recomend something alittle more americain for the president though, maybe an americain water special so it doesnt shed so bad since the one daughter has allergies.
Bob Trete, IL 2/15/2009 3:00:58 PM One of the girls has allegies they have to get one that doesn't shed much.
Natalie Greenbay, WI 2/14/2009 10:33:02 AM I think they should get a dog at the shelter. And if they don't- they should definetly get a Portugese Water Dog. And if they want to get a labradoodle, NO. They should get a GOLDENDOODLE. But, anyway, doodles are WONDERFUL dogs, but all of the breeders are just contributing to the too-many-pets-in-America thing. You can't show a labradoodle or improve it's "breed" like you can with a Portugese Water Dog.
