I have Two 6 1/2 Month old puppies one is a male and one is a female. The male eats vegetation and other types of weeds growing from the ground such as Grass, Dollar Weeds. I know some plants and Pesticide can be harmful. (I Have two questions) 1. How can I tell if the dollar weeds or other types of weeds are harmful. 2.Also Could it be possible that he eats his food so fast, it's like he hasn't ate in a week? I was wandering is it because the food hasn't had time to
Digest?.

Thanks, Susan.

I have a 14 months old Shih Szu who eats grass all the time and seem just fine ,i think it's more a habit than stomach problems. We used to try to stop him when he was a puppy but as soon as he had the chance ,would do it again, also eats his own stool from time to time ,also can't seem to stop him ,as much as we try, could the two habit go together ? We hate that last habit ,any suggestion.

Hello, My cocker spaniel has been spitting up for a few days, a yellow foamy watery kind, although yesterday after she ate she threw up some of her food, it was about 10 minutes after she ate, not all of her food, about 1/4 of it. So she is acting fine otherwise. I want to put her on a groundbeet/rice, chichen/rice diet for a few days. She weights 23#s. How much should I feed her. example 1/2cup rice to 1/2 cup meat I feed her purina one she is 4 years old

My chesapeake bay retriever seems to like the grass in a certain part of the garden. Only eats a little. I give her two types of highly rated dog food to try to cover any deficiencies in her diet.

Be careful! You don't want your dog to eat grass if it has a lot of chemicals on it. That can cause tummy problems or worse!

that's so true. my dog loves eating grass out of our garden and she never gets sick. our cats do it, too, and i think it's probably good for them.
