It's great they are getting a rescue, although in my opinion, a rescued mix-breed "mutt" would have sent a better message.

I read the article on Yahoo. It is good they are getting a rescue dog. Although if I were them I would have gotten a cat.

I am very excited and pleased to know the first family has made the choice to take a rescue dog.

I am so happy that they are actually going to adopt from a rescue shelter. I have a shelter dog (a Chion; Chihuahua/Papillon mix) named Petey. He's saved me just as much as I saved him. God could not have given me a better dog to cross paths with. I have been offered upwards of $3,000 for him. It never even crossed my mind to say yes. I gave a very stern no and left the pet store. I love him so much. He's not just my son, he's my world.
