I thought everyone knew about vaccinating for Lyme's. Don't their vets inform them when they go for rabies?

Pet owners need to be made more aware of this debilitating disease. Our basset hound had it his entire life and suffered the after effects every sing le day.

More info. about this vaccine needs to be made available to the public.

My dog has this vaccine, and we use Bio-spot to kill any fleas or ticks that get on her.

In the animal hospital I work for, we are finding more pet parents vaccinating their pets for lyme disease. Especially those who take their pets camping or on walks through local nature preserves. Have we seen any pets test positive for Lyme disease? YES WE HAVE. And we're just outside of Chicago. It can be anywhere.

We use frontline plus, year round, and our Vet told us that the vaccine was unnessersary. I am not sure now that I agree with that.
