Kerk Sheboygan, WI 4/7/2009 5:48:31 PM Beagles are the best! Pound for pound they are the best value in a hunting dog... and half of that is heart! My family has had beagles for nearly fifty years and never would consider another breed. They also make fantastic pets and companions. Have you ever heard of a mean beagle? They truly are man's best friend! If not, Snoopy would have never been a beagle!
