Diane Houston, TX 1/16/2012 7:10:05 PM I have a bishion frise. He got matted but not the extreme .the shaved him so far down to the skin ,he looks pink. Also razor burns on both eye lids. And he just cries all the time now.

Connie Bryan, TX 9/2/2010 6:23:40 PM While your comment was interesting and I am in total agreement on the need to take care of a dog's coat, did you assume matting because it was a Bichon? I keep my 3 cockers in a sport or puppy cut. They are groomed every 6 weeks and are never matted. One itches constantly after a grooming (why I'm looking for answers). I hope the medicated shampoo or spray works. Thanks for the advice.
