Rosemary Grand Rapids, MI 4/29/2010 12:15:50 PM I believe she has made a wise choice in not breeding anymore. I also have corgis, I bred them once and kept half the litter one which had a bad heart the vet said she wouldn't make it a year but through good vet care and us taking care of her she passed away just before she turned 6. I still have my three now and wouldn't own another breed.
Charles Valrico, FL 3/11/2010 7:25:45 PM I think it is a sound decision by the Queen as she is getting on, how ever it would be nice if her sons carried on the royal tradition in honor of the Queen and the breed.
Dolores St Simons Island, GA 1/28/2010 9:08:49 AM Yes, the Queen has made a good decision. I love seeing pictures of her with her dogs and hope for many more years.
Mary Jackson, MS 6/1/2009 4:01:56 PM I,too, have Corgis. They are easy to love and fun to know. It just makes me sad to think she has come to this point. But yes...I know she has made a wise choice.
Scoobypye Spartanburg, SC 5/27/2009 1:10:29 PM Its very interesting to see a personal side of the Queen like that. Thanks.
Shelly B Lancaster, CA 5/27/2009 11:40:39 AM It is a good choice, tho I am not sure why she does not think anyone else will take care of her dogs if something happens to her, I am sure people would be trilled but that's just me.
Jane Amherst, MA 5/27/2009 8:59:12 AM She has made a good decision to stop now, so they will die with her.
