Kris Coal valley, Illinois 9/24/2012 8:12:59 PM My black lab just took his second dose tonight 9/24/12. He takes 95mg every other day. A one month supply is $250.00. There is also weekly lab work and abdominal ultrasounds in addition to cover. I love my dog soooo much. His tumors are in one lung and 2 in the spleen with lymph node involvement that makes it harder to breath and swallow at times. It doesn't help that he inhales his food. He still goes on walks and is a ball fanatic. We are at the point where the cost of treating your dog makes it a real hardship and we're at that point where we really can't afford these bills but what are you suppose to do. How can you say sorry buddy, there are drugs that can help but I can't get them. What do you do when you get here.......... After you've cut back and eliminated so many things already. When you're looking everywhere to cut back and trying to work overtime if theres work. Discontinuing tv services... Using duck tape to help the work bag last longer. Buying something only if its really needed and not just wanted. This is helping us learn how much you have that you don't need. Resets priorities. But then it comes back to my best friend who has cancer and I can't continue to give you what you need. What do I do then? Maybe the makers of Palladia would want studies on how their med works w mast cell tumors that are not just under the skin but inside organs! Hmmmm

Julie Lewiston, ME 6/4/2009 12:56:16 PM That is super. I hope that it save many dogs lives. Thank for the great work in cancer research.
