Melissa Farmington, NM 7/4/2010 9:07:32 AM This is such a bad holiday for dogs! I leave mine in the bedroom with the radio on to keep them calm and safe.
Judy Edmonton, AB 7/2/2010 8:49:52 PM Great idea this will be our labs first experience with the sounds of fireworks.
Kim Edmonton, AB 7/2/2010 8:30:08 PM I was actually told by my dog's trainer to play opera music since the notes are so all over the place that they tend to concentrate on where the notes are than the noise of thunder or fireworks.
Shelly Bothell, WA 7/2/2010 12:42:43 AM We used to sedate our Sheltie, recommended by the vet. He jumped at the front window barking trying to protect us. Luckily the window didn't break. Now we go camping in the forest, fun for everyone, and my neighbor is not there shooting stuff at our camper and upsetting our dog.
Shelly B Lancaster, CA 7/5/2009 9:49:08 PM Our dogs were ok yesterday, it is the day after that the neighbors decided to be patriotic that they are having problems. Eeek! Thanks for the tips please!
Jenn Wheaton, IL 7/5/2009 12:20:02 PM My dog wasn't scared at all of the fireworks, but she's scared of everything else......?
