Pamela Orange, CA 1/20/2010 3:13:17 PM I think it's a great idea. As a responsible pet owner, my dogs receive wellness check ups every 6 months and all vaccinations are updated at that time. Their teeth are also cleaned once a year. As tough as times are, I will not give up the care they deserve.

Sandra Rices Landing, PA 8/6/2009 11:29:30 AM This would be a good thing. I hope it gets there is an effort to organize people to contact their legislators to support this bill. I volunteer at our local humane shelter and we are inundated with pets as people can no longer care for them or just leave them whenever they move, etc. I, myself, have 7 dogs with one of them being diabetic, so the amount I spend on pet care at times can be overwhelming. So I hope this passes.

I wish it would ge more publicity so pet lovers could contract their legislative representatives and voice support for this House bill. It would also be nice to write Rep. Cotter and let him know we thank him for his support of this bill to help animals.
