Hugging and kissing them makes them feel missed and loved whenever you return from being out even for a few hours..best if you do it everytime you come home.

My dog likes walks and belly rubs and to play but she also likes the royal treatment ( a good warm sudsy bath with good smelling shampoo that I give her)(and it doesn't cost a fortune)

All that dogs really want is balance in their lives, which can be supplied without those massages and doggie spa visits.

I think that dogs prefer the simple pleasures too. I know my dog would rather have a belly rub than spa treatment.

Why would Purina need to do a survey like this one. Think of the money they spent on this. It would have been more profitable to donate that money to an animal shelter. What animal shelter isn't hurting for money at this time with the way our economy is!

Sounds like common sense! If you don't want to regularly walk your dog, give him belly rubs, & play with him, why would you have one?

My beagle's favorite things are anything food related, walks and "going bye-bye".
