I read about this cure for tape worms 9 or so years ago in a natural healing book for dogs. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the author. I can give you the instructions. The pumpkin seeds need to be raw and freshly ground for each meal. I use a coffee grinder and add about one tablespoon into his dish. We live out in the desert where there are many rabbits and quail to catch but no fleas so he gets the less common type of tape worm but hopefully this will work for both kinds. I get an opportunity to see my dog's poop everyday and I always check for worms. He had gone a couple of years without any, but just three weeks ago I saw one clearly, moving in that distinctive tapeworm way. I began adding the pumpkin seeds to my dog's meals right away. Looking every day, I have not seen a worm since. My dog is over 12 years old and he used to get worms more frequently when he was more active, and this remedy has always worked like a miracle. I remember reading that the effectiveness has something to do with the texture of the outer shell of the seed being abrasive to the tissue of the worms. Pumpkin seeds are also just plain healthy food with lots of omega 3s and zinc. The seeds, greenish in color, can be found in the bulk section of health food stores and I have also seen them on Amazon for about $6 a pound. Best of luck to you and your dogs.
