Lin Ft Collins, CO 3/18/2011 11:09:59 AM I have always had a GSD growing up and now. She is my best friend. I can't say enough about her, she is beautiful and funny. She is always w/me when I'm at home. If I get up from the room, she follows. When a knock at the door, she is the first to answer and wait with a concerned eye until the stranger leaves. I also have mini-dachshunds that she loves to herd into the house and protect them outside. I do believe that I will have a GSD until the day I die. My previous shepherds have lived until they were 16 and 14 yrs old. My little girl now is 11 yrs old. We still hike the Rockies and fish when we can. I know she would give her life to protect me and the doxies. I can't say enough about Sadie except, I love her!
