Richard North Potomac, MD 11/24/2011 7:57:33 PM When my wife died and I was going into a depression, my doctor told me to get a dog to love. Chance was a three year old BRT rescue when I got him and it took some time to socialize him, but now at seven is the most loving dog I ever owned (had Standard Poodles before). He is at my side 24X7, never more than 10 feet from me and more times than not his head is on the pillow next to me or his nose is next to my armpit when I get up in the morning. In addition, he has trained me to meet all his needs. He is the alpha male but he lets me think I’m in charge to keep me happy. Love him.
