Linda Albuquerque, NM 1/28/2010 10:03:40 AM It was a wonderful story very heart warming. The world needs more people like Brian Dennis.
Donna Peabody, MA 12/14/2009 5:56:41 PM I had the pleasure of meeting Nubs and Major Brian Dennis at their booking signing on Camp Pendleton Marine Base in Oceanside,CA on December 5th. The number of people that were there supports what each and everyone of us know...it's a wonderful, loving story. The dog was so sweet coming over to each and everyone of us waiting to have the book signed. When I got to speak with Major Dennis I told him what a wonderful thing he had done and he quickly said "it was Nubs who did it"..he showed strength, determination and love. I am so happy for them. A great heartwarming story for sure. The book is not only for children, but also for adults. That was very evident at the book signing.
Sidney Phoenix, AZ 11/23/2009 7:05:47 PM Nubs knows what he's fighting for. It's love. The rest of us are still stuck in hate trying to figure out why the hell we aren't happy campers. Good for this Marine for getting it. I'm happy for Nubs and happy for Dennis.
jan palm bay, FL 11/22/2009 5:46:30 PM what a great story. the love of a dog is great. they will find you if left behind. dog is god backwards.
Charles Joplin, MO 11/16/2009 10:03:16 AM The story about Nubs and the other dogs is inspiring. As a lifelong dog lover (and US Marine supporter), I am glad Nubs and the other dogs were rescued and brought home to the United States of America! These dogs prove the strong bond between Humans and dogs. A dog once saved my life so I can say that these special dogs have served our country well and especially the United States Marines! And by the way, THANK YOU MARINES FOR YOUR SERVICE.And thanks for rescuing these wonderful dogs. (When you spell dog backwards, well, you have it all!)
Judy Oak Lawn, IL, IL 11/16/2009 5:49:09 AM Last night, I saw this dog and his human on a program called "Operation Baghdad Pups." It was on the military channel on the cable TV. It showed this dog and three others with their soldiers. It was interesting and heartwarming. Operation Baghdad Pups is a program sponsered by the SPCA to help the soldiers get their mascots out of Iraq or Afghanistan and bring them home to the US. I think it's a great program. It helps both the soldier and his/her dog or cat
Ruby Sky East Patchogue, NY 11/15/2009 4:25:23 PM This is an amazing story. I wish more people like Marine Major Brian Dennis would exist in this world. I really do.
Judy Oak Lawn, IL 11/14/2009 6:39:01 PM What a heart warming story. You may want to check out the SPCA website. They are involved in helping GIs get their adopted doggie & kittie mascots back to the US
