William Burlington, WI 12/13/2009 5:57:02 AM The test has no real value since there is no specific treatment for flu and by the time you decide to run the test and get the results your pet will already be over it. Also the flu virus is only shed at specific times during the disease the test is prone to false negatives. The dog flu vaccine is being overhyped. it hasn't even been proven effective yet and most animals that get flu will simply get over it with time.
