We are a private sanctuary that provides love and a permanent home to cats that we have been unable to re home do their special needs. We have spent 42 months volunteering for trap neuter return of Feral cat colonies. We have helped many community members and elderly who are unable to help the stray, abandoned, and Feral cats near their home o as well as their own pets they can no longer care for. We have helped hundreds of cats in these colonies in our town and surrounding areas. We have found many barn homes for nearly 200 cats and at least 50 kittens and about ten tame adults a loving home. We strive to rehabilitate and give special needs care to the many cats that call our wooded acres their home. We have fostered and given medical attention to those in need. Our project this winter is to provide additional shelter and care for the many under our wing. We ask for any help you may be willing to offer of kibble food. We have a very limited budget caring for at least 30 cats at one time (though we have had even more) Please help us keeps our doors open to those in need. Your help will be so much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, I am with Hart County Animal Shelter inc. , We are a small no-kill 501 (c)(3) rescue. We struggle with all of our cost, due to being in a small town. We were receiving plenty of food donations from Wal-Mart, but recently they have changed their way of doing things. They now mark down and sell the busted bags of food. Unfortunately it could not have come at a worse time. We have just been hit with over 100 dogs due to, two separate hoarding situations and with well 3 grand in vet bills looming we are in dire straights. I would be happy to give you what ever you require to be able to receive a donation of food. Please any help you can give we would appreciate, even if it was only a 2 bags of food. We are desperate and will be begging on the corners before long. We are trying very hard to help these animals so that they can have a chance at life, the life they deserve after being fed rotten diseased chickens, mauled by other dogs, invested to the point of dying from parasites, and left to freeze while tied on chains.

I want to thank you for taking time to donate to the animals in need.

victoria trap nueter and return traps feral cats. they are health checked, given shots, spay/neutered and ears are tipped and taken back to the colony where someone is feeding and giving water to the colony. The kittens of feral moms with moms are taken to a care shelter and given alll the care that is needed to keep them healthy. The kittens are then up for adoption and the moms are fixed and taken back to the colony. They are finding elderly people feeding colonies who are not eating themselves because the money is going to the animals. We really need help with feeding these animals cat/kittens/dogs. Outside and in animals must be fed. Please help. Thank you. We have done from 3-11 to 4-13 2,200 cats.

I am a facility that keeps many dogs for a local rescue that pulls many dogs from a kill shelter. I'm sad to say but the dogs have only 72 hours. We stay very busy getting them placed in other areas that don't have a kill shelter & we do get some placed locally to. I was wondering if there is a way. To get Merrick dog food donations for this local rescue

I have worked at the DeSoto County Shelter in Nesbit, MS for two and a half years and am searching desperately for donations of "good" food. The county provides us with food from our local co-op, but we need better food for our puppies and sick dogs that won't eat anything else. Ulnfortunately, we are not a no-kill shelter, but our needs are the same. We try to get every animal adopted and to give them as much time as possible, but food is one of the costs that determine how long we can keep animals before we must euthanize them.

It's nice to see that kind of generosity when the economy is so bad for everyone.
