It's good to start brushing your dog's teeth when he is a puppy. It saves a lot of money later on down the road if your dog gets peridontal disease.

Very deadly. The same diseases will occur in humans but most of us avoid them by brushing our teeth daily.

This is a very strssfull subject my 6 yr old has terrible teeth and with the way things are going with the economy how would I be able to afford fixing her teeth.yes I brush her teeth I buy dental food and treats ect

it is very hard, my dogs just wont let me brush their teeth. my newest puppy ,im trying daily so she gets used to it...and yes, she does like the chicken flavor toothpaste..

I have brushed my dogs teeth everyday since she was a puppy and she loves it. Have you tried the chicken toothpaste from Petco?

unfortuantly my pets have bad teeth but i am trying to fix that. its so hard cus they really hate there teeth being brushed

OF course they do. They need a reason to promote other services. I can't blame vets for trying to find more ways to make money. I just wish we'd see studies by independent groups NOT drug companies and veterinary companies who have a vested interest in the results.
