I know all my dog's different barks and she knows my tone of voice and can usually figure out what's going on. I think anyone in a close relationship will agree.

Sandy Windsor Locks, CT 6/14/2010 4:25:25 AM I totally agree with the survey. I have two cocoer spaniels and I know they understand when I am upset or sick. I can also tell from they looks and barks what they want- whether its food- to go out-to play with their balls. Its amazing and I also prefer my pets companiionship most times than humans.
