Galadriel Lothlorien, ME 7/19/2010 3:28:38 PM Rescue pets are the best. Sometimes their trust can be hard to win but once you have it, you have it for life. They can always compare you to their previous awful life and you end up coming out on top. Cute photo!
Shannon Millington, TN 7/19/2010 8:11:59 AM Hey, I tried to get on this site, but the link just takes me to a google search engine. Anyone else having problems with this?
Shannon Millington, TN 7/19/2010 8:09:06 AM I have two dogs from shelter, but only my Dixie came from an abusive home. But I lost Zoe who I stole in the middle of the night from a home that I saw abusing her as a eight week puppy. She lived to be 14 years old. I never regretted one day with her, she was the best friend and protector. She loved everything and everyone! I admire anyone that will take a chance on these poor dogs and cats, that go through such trials. I know you might have issues to deal with at first, but love does right several wrongs and before you know it you have the best pet you could ever hope for. So for those out there who might wonder if adopting a pet that has went through trials, I totally recommend giving them a chance. Dixie and Zoe both are/were very good dogs.
