Jada Grayson, GA 8/30/2010 12:16:57 PM Poor Ellie! As the owner of a 9 month old lab puppy aptly named "Chewy", I can honestly say that labs will eat ANYTHING. ANYTHING!! We spent $800 a few weeks ago for a barium contrast, to make sure a chew toy passed thru Chewy's system safely! You can't really protect them themselves, it seems! :) Glad you are better, Ellie! :)
J.T. Shreveport, LA 8/29/2010 4:40:30 PM What a way to receive recognition (for both the pet and its owners)!
L K, CT 8/29/2010 8:52:21 AM Poor thing! My puppies got into a yellow jacket ground nest, bees are nasty little things!
Becky La Habra, CA 8/29/2010 8:25:05 AM Oh no!!!How horrible!!My min pins the same!!He s not even a year old yet!!I can list numerous times he s been in trouble!
Trisha Raleigh, NC 8/29/2010 6:13:58 AM If you have a lab, sooner or later, it's going to eat something it shouldn't. If I had only kept a list of all the things my lab ate the 1st year of his life. He did eat something - we don't know what - that sent him into seizures and resulted in an emergency trip to the vet. Fortunately he's ok but I would tell anyone with a lab - either have pet insurance or be able to handle the costs.
Jo Jo newtown, PA 8/27/2010 5:06:24 AM Thats nothing! I knew a black lab at one of my clients neighbor's house, who would knaw pieces of car bumpers off of cars. Honest story I swear! I think he deserves that award
Terry Houston, TX 8/27/2010 1:11:49 AM DANG! My lab picks up everything in her mouth as well! Must be an inherited trait!
