KAY CLINTON, MO 4/20/2011 8:14:17 PM THEY NEED TO LEAVE THE LAW AS IS AT THE TIME IT WAS VOTED ON AND PASSED. ALL THE LAW DOES IS ENFORCE GOOD SENSIBLE AND RESPONSABLE DOG OWNERSHIP. ANY TRULY RESPONSABLE BREEDER ALREADY FOLLOWS THESE LAWS WITHOUT HAVING TO BE TOLD BECAUSE OF THEIR COMMITTMENT AND LOVE OF THE BREED OF THEIR CHOICE.IT'S ABOUT TIME STATES TOOK STEPS SUCH AS THESE AND I'M PROUD TO BE A RESIDENT OF MISSOURI FOR BEING ONE OF THE FIRST.
Galadriel Lothlorien, ME 1/25/2011 10:45:53 PM I hope it gets repealed. Why is it so wrong to breed dogs for profit. Every other animal is bred for this reason. I do believe that inspections would be a good idea to ensure that the dogs are happy and healthy but other than that, why limit it? People who breed cattle and sheep certainly aren't limited to 50 females. Most would agree that is ridiculous.
Reta East Hartford, CT 1/25/2011 6:25:20 PM Though I am not a resident of this state, these laws are important to me and to anyone in the dog fancy. Only SB 95, which would make the law stronger, would help dogs. People who care more about money than about lives (those trying to weaken or eliminate the law) scare me.
Cheryl Kansas City, KS 1/25/2011 2:30:12 PM I hope that they leave this alone and it goes into effect as is.
