Aiyanna Eugene, OR 4/3/2011 8:50:56 PM Awesome! Greyhounds sound like great dogs, now the hard part is convincing my parents to get one.
Carol Silver Spring, MD 4/3/2011 1:45:03 PM Greyhounds rock! The best dogs ever who just want the love and appreciation they didn't receive at the track. The exercise factor is easy. The running away factor is not. Never have them off-lead except in a fenced in area, and be certain the gates and doors to your home are closed at all time. Give one of these wonderful dogs a chance at a forever home, and you'll have all the unconditional love you can handle.
Michael Boston, MA 4/2/2011 5:33:27 PM Greyhounds are like any other dog. They sure would enjoy two or three walks a day, but, if you're not up for that, they're adaptable. A fenced yard is a must if you don't want to walk them though. They're sighthounds, and will chase anything: even a plastic bag blowing in the wind. A loose greyhound, is often a lost greyhound.
Galadriel Lothlorien, ME 4/1/2011 11:30:21 PM Sounds great but I can't imagine anyone thinking that 3 walks a day is little!
Jo Ann Lodgepole, NE 4/1/2011 5:55:43 PM The only greyhound I've met used to visit the nursing home on a regular basis. She was really wonderful with the residents, so sweet and gentle!
Nora Cape Cod, MA 4/1/2011 1:03:51 PM I adopted my retired racer and shes one of the best dogs ive had! Jazz is very loving and has yet to meet a "stranger". I encourage anyone to rescue one(:
Andre Corfu, NY 4/1/2011 12:40:02 PM We just got our second grey back in august and she is so sweet. After our last one past away of old age, we knew we would get another.
Maddy Somewhere, NY 4/1/2011 4:45:59 AM I would love to adopt a Greyhound. They are so cutie. Unfortunatly, some people in my family are allergic :0(
