I am absolutely against this. There are so many cases when one would want to keep their pet intact and it should be the owner's choice.

i think this is a good idea. and i think the price should be alot more than just $10 for the unaltered permit. people will look at that and say well lets just pay $10 instead of paying over $100 for the price of the spay/neuter price. charge alot more for the permits! and put that money towards helping to pay for the price of the spay/neuter costs for those who need help paying it for their animals. controlling the animal population is up to us. its not the animals fault for over breeding, its ours for not being responible and "fixing" them. we are the brains, lets be the ones to stop the overpopulation! every state should mandate a law like this. and if im interpreting right, the pijac needs to shut their mouth! criticizing mandatory sterilization! well do they like the fact of starving, homeless, and euthanized animals do to not being adopted at shelters??!!! instead of spaying and neutering them!!?? im all for this idea!! i wish it were being proposed in my state and i would attend and be infavor of it!!! i hope it goes thru for daytona beach.
