My chihuahua has had these crust tears for the last 4 to 5 months. She's 9 years old and never before. Same diet, same house, same everything. Her mom, that stays with me 4 days a week, is fine. I have been thinking allergies but to what? She's getting tired of me cleaning below her eyes with a warm wash rag but I just can't let her eyes turn into crusty hotels. Maybe I'll Tru that petspark listed above. Idk.

I had the same issue with my pup until a friend recommended petsspark. It is a natural product which is mixed in your pups food and it works miracles. It destroys the bacteria that causes this hard, dark, crusty tear stains. I did the whole treatment for my princess- 3 months, and it did not reoccur for about a year and a half.did the treatment again, has not come back since..completely safe. I recommend it!

My dog did have a problem with tear staining and we went the route of changing her food and the problem disappeared.
