Carla Hanksville, UT 8/29/2011 7:03:43 PM I like seeing a proactive recall Before there are any actual illnesses or deaths reported. My Atita Was quite ill from The China Melamine problem. So I have almost exclusively been cooking his food. It's a pain but whem The china authorities said that afterall, they are "only" animals. I was done trusting dogfood manufacturers. Our dog is our family member, just as loved as any of my other children.
Woof Chiccccaggggo, IL 8/27/2011 3:32:03 AM Everytime I find what looks like a good food it hs a recall. I would go homemade 100% if I could as its the only "brand" that I can trust. Unfortunately we are always gone 2 months of the year so I have a short list of approved and partially approved foods
Pat Washington, DC 8/19/2011 5:41:31 PM This is the second such recall for Merrick treats in a little over one year. The first recall involved Jr. Texas Taffy affected by salmonella at Christmastime. I am losing confidence in this US sourced brand.
Lt Toronto, ON 8/19/2011 2:02:15 PM Two of my 3 dogs just had bouts of bloody diarrhea. One was extremely sick. I am wondering if merricks is going to/or has recalled Any of their lamb lung treats? That is the only product that the 2 dogs have had. The 3rd not sick dog can't tolerate the lamb lung treats.
Jean Vancouver, WA 8/18/2011 7:10:14 PM thank you so very much for issuing the recall notice. having sources such as you provides a great comfort. i buy other products from this vendor and have had no problems to date but this is very good to know about.
Stephanay Hanford, CA 8/18/2011 5:00:39 PM Most grateful, for up front, honest, and safe treatment and consideration of this topic.
CJ camas, WA 8/18/2011 11:51:36 AM I just bought some....back they will go...I like their products & glad they are being proactive...
