All be it I am dealing with a lab mix breed that is struggling with allergies and what a process it is to diagnois what the culprit is. At this time my dog is taking prescribed anti-histamines (2 times daily) and skin drops once a week. So far the scratching has calmed down. If it continues at the level it's at we will keep her on this medical regime.
