I jokingly say to 29 year old son that had we gotten either dog 40 years earlier...he would not be here.ha ha Back when, we had large outdoor dogs and when our last hound died I let my wife finally pick out a lap dog. Benji came and within a week he was no longer a pet, he was a member of the family. Missy came alone one year latter and neither of us would change a thing...they have added so much love and happiness in our retirement years I can't think of them not being here.
Patricia Corvallis, Oregon 12/20/2012 4:47:43 PM I recently acquired a rescue dog, and have been so puzzled as to his breed, and after reading about the Havanese breed, I am convinced he is Havanese. Is there a way to determine positively?
amanda frontroyal, Virginia 12/11/2012 8:44:53 PM no they hate being alone.. A cat or another dog will do. I have 2 of them and they sleep eat play toghter I had one at first and i have 3 older dogs he was so bad in the house and then i got his sister and now he very well behaved for the most part
