We rescued a Havanese. What a delightful dog. We also have a standard poodle and they are good buddies. Both breeds are a delight. We have a fun happy household!!

I'm interested in where to get the Havanese dog. I live in an apt. in Ohio. How big do they get? What is a normal weight? Do they get along with children? All information would be appreciated.

I love my little Havanese, Maksim!!! I love him so much I got him his blood sister Abigail for his 2nd birthdate, she is now 15 weeks old and they love each
I researched breeds from A-Z to see what breed and size would best fit in my family of 9 yr old kitty and Havanese won hands down!! It has taken a while for the dust to settle but the do get along.

I Have a Havanese/Terrier and Hava-Pooh. They are the most loving dogs ever! They love to be by my side always! And bring such love and joy in my life!

My son got a rescue dog and was told by the shelter they thought he was terrior and poodle mix. Since then a couple people who are familier with Havanese breeds think he is a Havanese. We love this little dog. He is so sweet and we can't believe how smart he is. We don't know his back ground but think he is the best dog ever!

Our two Havanese, Benji and Missy, are our proudest family members. I jokingly say to 29 year old son that had we gotten either dog 40 years earlier...he would not be here.ha ha Back when, we had large outdoor dogs and when our last hound died I let my wife finally pick out a lap dog. Benji came and within a week he was no longer a pet, he was a member of the family. Missy came alone one year latter and neither of us would change a thing...they have added so much love and happiness in our retirement years I can't think of them not being here.

I recently acquired a rescue dog, and have been so puzzled as to his
and after reading about the Havanese breed, I am convinced he
Havanese. Is there a way to determine positively?
