Ingrid Clarksville, TN 9/9/2007 8:54:54 PM Wonderful, a Pet Memorial Day, I had no idea. Of course there is not a day going by that I don't think about my pets that went to the Rainbow Bridge. I have their pictures all over the house and they are in my heart, always.
JE Cleveland, OH 9/9/2007 6:29:26 AM I think it's nice to have a special day. I know I think about my little one's that have passed throughout the year. But, hopefully, it can bring some relief to those that aren't getting the support they need for their grieving.
SUSAN ERIE, PA 9/8/2007 10:59:15 PM I always remember my rainbow kids by planting a bush and a memoial stone.
Scott & Julie Mobile, AL 9/8/2007 6:18:19 PM We, like Julie & Justin, remember our Little Boy & Little Girl every day too. But if they are going to put things like Bosses Day & Grandparents Day on our calenders, then I think it is a great idea to have a Pet Memorial Day. I would like to add that D.C.com should allow us to post a brief memorial & a favorite picture in honor of our beloved pets.
Cindy Osceola, AR 9/8/2007 3:57:41 PM We will be honoring our beloved Cocoa on Sunday. He was a very important part of our family and he is missed very much. I think it is wonderful that a day has been established for remembering all the love and companionship our pets have given to us.
Bev. Farmingville, NY 9/8/2007 12:33:24 PM It is a wonderful way to help people reach closure. I hope many people will take advantage of the opportunity.
