glebec Frazier Park, CA 9/23/2012 7:18:00 AM There are millions of pit bulls being abandoned and/or dying in shelters all over the U.S. right now. There are vastly more of them than there are homes for them. I sure support socializing this breed, and any breed, but can anyone that is adding to this glut on the dog market that harms both people and dogs be considered a "responsible" breeder? Shouldn't responsible breeders be looking for solutions to reduce the over supply of pits? Or does "responsible" mean that they are only responsible for the puppies they breed and owe nothing to the overall breed or to dogs in general?
