They should have been pulled a LONG TIME AGO ! I lost 2 beloved dogs over 3 years ago ,a little over a month apart from kidney failure! So many pets died from what owners thought were safe treats from reliable companies ! GREED!!!!!

I purchased these for my dog and he became sick after eating them! He had an upset stomach, his #2 was runny and he didn't want to eat for a day and a half. He was perfectly fine before that, I know for a fact that those treats were the culprit. I feel bad that I gave him something that made him sick, as for the people making the "treats", they should be ashamed! As their product says, but clearly does not do anything but contradict itself, "Made In America", on the front of course!! But, on the back, in small writing in the corner, it tells us the REAL place it was made! So, I believe if they do things like that then it stands to reason that there are other misleading tricky things that they do! I mean just like any other business, including hospitals even, they are out to make money not out to do the right thing!! Hopefully, this will not happen again and they will learn a
lesson!
Slice up chicken breasts thinly and bake at 400, for about 2 hours or until they resemble jerky, leave oven door cracked when they are done when oven is off before taking them out. Let them cool inside the oven then give to your best doggie friend!! That's what I have done! You know what's in them, you know where they came from and you know exactly what your precious pet is getting! My dog loves them! Good luck to everyone with their
pets!
God Bless those dogs that have died because of these
"treats"!
God Bless ALL ANIMALS!!!

I am disgusted with the money talks attitude of many companies. How many dogs had to die or become seriously ill for these companies to take a stand and pull the products from the
shelves.
It's time for all companies that feed our animal family members to be extra careful when using foreign sources for pet feeds. We had the same situation in horse feeds not too long ago- enough is enough!

I only wish pet owners acknowledged the processing at the rendering plants to establish exactly what innocent family pets are consuming. So many things are not exposed to the public and it really bothers me. If you just dig a little deeper you''ll see what I mean. The fact that the euthanatia drug does not degregate they still continue to put in our pet foods and treats. The five D's kill me!

It is about time. I was so sad and disturbed that American companies would not pull these Made in China treats and have allowed so many pets to die just to make money. Most dogs are like their owner's children. Would the FDA allow China food to KILL human children?

I am very disappointed in Purina. I have always held their products in high regards! I will be checking the labels better since I have a large variety of pets.

Mfg. of any pet products should never be made in China. I do not and will not purchase any dog/cat food, toys, snacks, clothing etc., made in China. There have been numerous articles published on the dangers of your pet eating or even wearing anything from China. I agree with Shirley, America does make wonderful and safe treats, stick with them.

I think all these products should be pulled if there is even the slighest hint that it could cause our animals to become ill. I lost a dog last year who had some of these treats, is it related I will never know but its always possible. besides which America makes good treats so why not keep it local and support American made products.
