Here we are 2013 and Steve earnest STILL has animals. Good to know in pa you can abuse animals, have them confiscated and euthanized, and still be allowed animals. That place isn't fit for any living creature. Way to protect animals. Hey but if anyone looking for a nice kennel to keep your dog, bring them to 413 west juniata parkway In Millerstown. Maybe the dog warden could have Steve care for his dogs next time he's out of town?

yeah you guys think that hearing them and seeing the conditions they were in was a horrible thing, try helping the dogs and pulling dead puppies out of the kennels and cleaning their cages and seeing sick dogs in small cages ,then go atop the hill and see the damn borses that were emaciated and didnt have the proper care plus the goats and calves, make a trip to the lower barn and see the rabbits without the feed and shit..then you can complain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sad thing about this story is, we live next to Steve Earnest and these animals. They were like that for years (8+), and numerous calls made to the humane society, dog warden, etc and nothing done about it. We lived next to the smell of dead animals and waste and listened to dogs cry and whine all day. they were chained to trash, in tiny cages, laying in their own waste...I can't even begin to describe. The dog warden in Perry County ignored my plea for YEARS until finally some laws were changed under Rendell and something was done about it. Now, it is Sept 2008 and guess what? Steven Earnest once again has dogs. Good luck to anyone who thinks they can actually really keep these people away from animals. Our dog warden told me over the last 8 years that Steve was within the law and not doing anything wrong. I challenge anyone to come to this address and tell me the animals are being taken care of.

More action needs to be taken in cases like this. No dog should have to suffer in puppy mill conditions.

As he should loose his license. No animal should be treated in this way. So awful, makes you wonder why they would do such a thing.
