This park has been open about 2 years and is located in the back side of Mehlig Park. It is surrounded by 6 foot fence, double gate entrance, benches, and people/dog water fountain. Rules for park use is posted by the gate. As a part of the city park system, there are no fees for use. All dogs must have proper shots.

Comments:
Mehlig Dog Park opened in April, 2007 and has grown over the years. Last summer a local trainer donated her agility equipment and that is now located at Mehlig (and Mohr) dog parks. WE do not have an agility course, the equiment is arranged so dogs can just run and play on the equipment, they particular the two climbing pieces and the tunnel.
