This 80-acre unfenced off-leash area is located east of the Rodeo Arena southwest of Buena Vista, Colorado. It is great place for exercising your dog and you. A road loop on the property (see this google map: http://goo.gl/maps/2vuha ) runs a little over a mile if you start at and return to the road spur on the NE corner of the property. Your dog gets lots of nature and animal smells. While you walk, bike, or drive, you get great 360-degree views, including the Sawatch Range, Collegiate Peaks, and Buffalo Peaks. Don't let the trapshooting range off the SW corner put you off -- they fire away from the dog park.
