Although it has been many years since I last visited this park, it still has a pleasant place in my memory.
Ample parking area is the first notable. This is the place where all dogs get to meet and greet.
The fairly open field that approaches the trail is where you will find most canine buddies and some folks prefer to just spend their time there. However, when you get on the trail and enter the woods, here is where the fun begins. The trail is fairly rugged, with lots of hills and valley's the dogs love to run and play in.
At the time when I was going to this park, we had two German Shepherd's; one male, one female. They loved this park so much we tried to get out there at least once a week.
There were bunnies to chase everywhere and this is what my two pups found to be the most fun; chasing these critters even though they were too smart to get caught.
After about four hours we would go home. By this time we had two very tired pups who had to be lifted into the car, they were so tired.
If you love to see dogs run and play, this is an ideal place to do that. I highly recommend it.
