Joel Silverman is the host of Animal Planet's "Good Dog U" and a frequent guest of popular talk shows and news programs. He has years of unique animal experiences ranging from training killer whales to every dog breed imaginable. Joel has worked with organizations ranging from Sea World to Universal Studios and on projects from ad campaigns for Iams to feature movies, including Russell Crowe’s "A Good Year." In 2008, Joel was named Dog Trainer of the Year at the Show Dogs of the Year Awards. Joel resides in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. with his mellow yellow dog Foster.
