I have had American English Coonhounds for 12 years now. We raise, train, show and hunt all six breeds of Coonhounds.

The first time I saw 'Rio,' he was just a little over a year old. He was everything I was looking for in an English. He had beautiful type, was strong, racey and built for speed. He had a presence about him, and he knew it! Rio went on to win at the World and National shows and won King Of Show at his breed days.

Not long after Rio, we purchased a beautiful, petite, racey bitch we named Alexander's Color Me Bad Cinn 'Cinn.'

These two dogs reproduced King and Queen Of Shows at English Days and also produced the top-winning American English Coonhound, BIS GCh. Alexander's Color Me Bad Ginn. Their pups start early hunting, and their grandpups do the same.

We are currently campaigning grandpups of these two dogs and hope to continue to promote Rio and Cinn through them!

My dad introduced me to the Treeing Walker breed about 15 years ago. Prior to that my dad had given up coon hunting after his two best dogs passed away. He could not find any that compared to them, so he gave it up. He was very successful at coon hunting and trapping. He sold the furs which afforded him the opportunity to build his first house. It is now a sport to the family, and we enjoy taking the dogs out and leaving the coon for another night to hunt.

Gold Dust Excalibur was bred by long-time Walker enthusiast Sue Ragsdale, and Gold Dust X-Otic was bred by myself. Excalibur, or 'X-Man' as he was known at home, reproduced the top-winning Treeing Walker in AKC history, RBIS-winning GCh. Alexander's Gold Rush Xcetera. Then X-Otic was crossed with him and reproduced a beautiful litter, three of which titled before a year old.

X-Man and X-Otic won numerous bench shows. Both are Grand Champions in UKC.

These dogs have a strong hunt desire, and pups start early at 4 to 5 months old. X-Man throws pups with beautiful sharp colors, heavy eyeliner, thick, well-padded feet, strong toplines and loud bawl mouths.

By day these Walkers grace the show ring and by night their voices echo through the timber.
