Today, Booth photos can be found on pages and covers of virtually every dog magazine published.

In addition to Smooth Fox Terriers, Kim has been involved with Borzoi, and he and his wife, Angela, have enjoyed great success with their Flashpoint Papillons, achieving Group, Best in Show and Specialty Best in Show wins.

Allen Odom

Allen Odom

Denver, Colo.

Allen Odom started exhibiting Boston Terriers in 1965. His deep appreciation for all breeds led him to own or show a variety of breeds over the years. His passion for Whippets led to his breeding and showing them for more than 25 years. He bred six generations of champions.

In 1995 he joined the American Kennel Club's Executive Field Representative staff. He retired in 2012. At this time he judges all Hounds and six other breeds.

Allen considers the Executive Field Representative position he held the most intense educational opportunity in the sport. Traveling to thousands of events, observing outstanding dogs at national specialties, regional specialties and all-breed shows was a rare advantage for him.

Those who know Allen well find him a man of his word and see him as a person who looks for the deeds, not just the words.

Scott Sommer

Scott Sommer

Houston, Texas

Scott Sommer has been involved in purebred dogs for almost an entire lifetime. His parents bred Smooth Fox Terriers and Scott showed his first dog at the age of 5 years old. From then on, he was hooked! Every weekend that he was able, he was at a dog show assisting Bob and Jane Forsyth or Ted Young, Jr.

When he was just past 15 years old, Scott moved to Texas to work for Michael and Patti Kemp. He was their assistant for 15 years where he gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about grooming, showing and conditioning show dogs.

Scott has now been a professional dog handler for more than 18 years and resides in Houston, Texas. Scott feels extremely fortunate in his career to have shown the Bichon FrisŽ Ch. Special Times Just Right ('JR') to No. 1 dog all breeds. Scott twice won Best in Show at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show — once with JR and then with Sussex Spaniel Ch. Clussexx Three D Grinchy Glee ('Stump'). Over the years, Scott went on to win four Group Firsts and additional placements at Westminster Kennel Club.

He won the Nature's Recipe Award for the Terrier Group in 1998 with the Lakeland Terrier Ch. Char-Dar's Red Label and again won the award in 2000 with JR for the Non-Sporting Group. He also won the Dogs in Review Winkie Award for most Sporting Group wins with Stump.
