The Fox Terrier Club of Northern California and the United States Kerry Blue Terrier Club have created mobile apps that allow members to sign up for club events, pay dues, check the breed standard, create fun puzzles and more. Mobile apps are the latest and greatest way for clubs to connect with current and potential new members.
According to the Fox Terrier Club of Northern California website, the new FTCNC mobile app is "designed specifically for members of the Fox Terrier Club of Northern California [and] allows members to view and reserve seats at upcoming shows and events, pay dues, and keep up to date with breaking news from the American Kennel Club.”
The app is available on iTunes and Google Play. The FTCNC calls this app "the ultimate Fox Terrier experience now at your fingertips!”
United States Kerry Blue Terrier Club Website Editor and Judge Education Coordinator Carol Kearney announced the USKBTC’s app. "This is a convenient application for the Kerry lover in all of us,” she says. "The application delivers the breed standard, a glossary of terms, a password protected membership list as well as a jigsaw puzzle game […] It will be useful as a judge training aid, ring mentoring and just for fun.”
The app, called "Kerry Blue” is available from the iTunes Store.
